1. E-Commerce and Direct Selling Seminar

   Time & Place: Friday March 24, 2000 at Public Administration and Business Management Center, National 

                                  Cheng-Chi University,  Taipei     

     Keynote Speakers: Professors engage in E-Commerce research and professionals in   E-Commerce  

                                                 business.

    Participants: Chief officers of direct selling firm who are interested in E-Commerce business.

2.  2. Direct Selling Advanced Class

   Objective: To encourage direct selling employees¡¦ lifelong learning and to enhance their management and 

                         marketing skills to regulate proper management concepts. Through the recognition of academic     

                         organizations, direct selling employees who are taking the courses will be able to enhance their 

                         academic excellence and their personality to a higher level.

Admissions: Direct selling distributors and management staffs of direct selling firms.

Class size: 100 students per class / semester

Courses: Management Concept of Direct selling, Direct Selling Market Analysis, The Fair Trade Law, Multilevel 

                      Marketing Management, Marketing Management, Consumer Behavioral Analysis, Relationship 

                      Marketing, Entrepreneur¡¦s Stamina Analysis, Direct Selling Practices¡K and etc.

Meeting Hours: Total of 54 hours span over nine weeks, twice per week and three hours each time.

Tentative Schedule: Courses will be offered every Sunday 13:00 ~16:30pm and 18:00~19:00pm from April 

                                              23,2000  to June 18, 2000 at Taipei, Taichung and Kaoshiung cities.

Lecturers: Full time and part time professors of National Sun Yat-Sen University, and other professionals and 

                        scholars outside the National Sun Yat-Sen University.

Certificate: Upon students¡¦ completion of the courses, they will be awarded certificate when they pass  the 

                           required exams, unless their accumulated absences are over 1/3 of the classes.

                   

3.    3.The Symposium on the Practices of Direct Selling Business

      Time & Place: Saturday June 3,2000 at Public Administration and Business Management center,

                                National Cheng-Chi University, Taipei

                               Saturday June 17,2000 at National Sun Yat-sen University, Kaohsiung

Objective: To solicit papers from every direct selling company and distributor. The content of each paper will 

                        be the summary of their practical experiences. Each paper passing DSRC¡¦s evaluation will be 

                        presented and discussed on the symposium.  Participants: All parties interested in direct selling 

                        practices, including management staffs, direct selling distributors, government officers, scholars, 

                        students and general public. 

Expected Attendants: 150~180 per symposium

   Time & Place: Sunday June 4, 2000 Public Administrative and Business Management Center,

                                   National Cheng-Chi University, Taipei

   Content: To review the achievement of Direct Selling Research Center.

   Participants: All advisors of DSRC.

                    

5.  Year 2000 The Fifth Academic Symposium on Direct Selling & Selection of Best Direct Selling Dissertations

     Time & Place: Saturday November 4, 2000 at National Sun Yat-Sen University, Kaohsiung 

                                     Saturday November 18, 2000 at Public Administrative and Business Management Center, 

                                     National Cheng-Chi University, Taipei

    Content: To solicit papers from every university and college professors and graduate researchers. The 

                        content of  each paper will be the summary of their research topics. Each paper passing DSRC¡¦s 

                        evaluation will be presented and discussed on the symposium. In addition, we will select the 

                        annual best dissertations from reviewing committee of academic scholars and practitioners. 

   Participants: All parties interested in direct selling issues, including management staffs, direct selling   

                                 distributors, government officers, scholars, students and general public.
