Direct
Selling Research Center (DSRC) is an official research center, operated within
National Sun Yat-Sen University and is paralleled with other academic
departments. It is however a self-sufficient unit and requires grants from
various entities. During January this year, DSRC has officially mailed out
letters to every direct selling firm seeking financial support. Although the
amount granted were not meeting our expectation, the response is better than
last year. We’d therefore like to take this opportunity to express our sincere
gratitude for the companies that provide such generous support and we promised
to work harder to win over more confirmation and support.
This
year we have solicited funds from Direct Selling Education Foundation (DSEF).
Through the assistance of ROCDSA, and also with the assistance of Mr. John Chou,
the South-East Asia Governor of WFDSA, we have been granted a total of US$23,000
which helps a lot in our activities. In the future, we hope that everyone will
be supportive of our work, so that our functions can be explored and quality of
our direct selling business can be better and innovative day by day.
