Dear Fellows of Direct Selling Industry:
The ˇ§2001 First Direct Selling Industry Summitˇ¨ has earned enthusiasm from the direct selling industry. It provided opportunity for the direct selling people to come together for the development of direct selling business. During the meeting, we decided to conduct a ˇ§National Direct Selling Industry United Welfare Activityˇ¨ to promote the cohesion of direct selling industry and build an image of a caring group for social welfare. This idea immediately received positive supports from 14 direct selling companies to subscribe T-shirts and resell them to the direct selling distributors to generate funds for the protectories. Through this charity event, we display the care of direct selling business, but most of all, we developed a significant issue that is every direct selling company despite its a member or non-member of DSA(Direct Selling Association), it is willing to work with one another to perform a meaningful thing. This is a good start because if all decent direct selling companies are able to cohere together to establish firm strength, it could manage the order of the direct selling market by nurturing fine companies and eliminate worse ones and enhance the reputation of the direct selling industry.
The ˇ§2002 First Direct Selling Industry Summitˇ¨ will be held at Public Management Center of National Chengchi University, Taipei on January 31(Thursday) at 2:00~5:00pm. Based on the past three years of experiences, we expect to regard it as ˇ§Direct Selling Unionˇ¨, a forum for all potential direct selling companies to communicate and negotiate consensus subjects with each other. Although the summit does not officially restrict direct selling firms, it still has a significant impact on the direct selling industry as long as we have consensus.
The position and organization flowchart of direct selling industry summit is the main topic for this meeting; the direct selling united public activity is the other issue for this year. If anyone has any other suggestions, please email to derfa@cm.nsysu.edu.tw or fax to 07-525-0122 before January 18. We expect to see everyone there since it is an important event for the direct selling industry.
Enclosed is the application form of the ˇ§2002 First Direct Selling Industry Summitˇ¨, please assign one senior executive officer as the representative and two other senior officers to attend. After filling out the application, please fax it back before January 25.
Please let us work together for the sake of the system of overall direct selling market.
Best wishes,
Der-Fa Chen
